Well obviously to say guys, some of these models are decoys.
The common critique for Jane was that she had no personality, and every time someone said that, it pissed me off. Jane seemed like a very chill and/or laid back person that I could easily see myself hanging out with and having a good time. That’s a personality. The only thing is that she’s quiet…so what? How does being quiet equate to not having a personality? Okay, I’ll stop talking about this subject because I’ll just get more and more angry until this becomes a rant. Jane’s portfolio wasn’t stellar, but it also wasn’t terrible. Her photos tended to run pretty middle-of-the-road to me, but she had moments of greatness. With her look, I think she had the potential to completely dominate the competition, but she just didn’t quite live up to it yet. Her runway walk also could have used a bit of work. Post-ANTM, Jane has been signed to IMG Models in New York, London, and Paris (I guess she didn’t need to win in order to land that contract). She has gotten quite a bit of good work since then, including being featured on Vogue.it and in Vogue Italia. Favorite Photo: This photo is very commercial, but that’s not a bad thing. She’s still selling me everything she’s wearing (even those boots despite my hatred for cheetah print).
