Where Will CES 2023 be held?
Here's everything we know so far about the upcoming event. The year is quickly coming to an end, and besides holiday celebrations, there’s one thing we tech heads can look forward to. CES 2023 is right around the corner! The Consumer Electronics Show was still affected by the pandemic last year, but this time around, we expect a much more standard convention, packed with great tech, exciting announcements, and plenty of hands-on time with the latest and greatest gadgets. CES 2023: Important information
SamsungRobert Triggs / Android Authority Samsung never really announces its important devices during CES, as it usually waits a bit to launch these closer to MWC. That said, the giant is never absent from any main tech event, and you can be sure we’ll see them at CES. Last year Samsung announced the Galaxy S21 FE at CES; is there a possibility of an S22 FE coming in 2023? We’ll have to wait and see. Samsung is known for its huge booth, so you can be sure we’ll see plenty of their TVs, appliances, monitors, and other smart technology. SonyRobert Triggs / Android Authority Sony is another company that usually has a massive booth at CES, but it doesn’t often announce much new stuff at this event. We’re often presented with impressive televisions, so we might see some of that. There’s one thing everyone’s hoping to see at CES 2023, though. Sony’s PlayStation VR 2 is expected to debut in early 2023. While we have no official details yet, there is a chance this could be a CES launch. More information should come as we get near the date. LGRobert Triggs / Android Authority LG has exited the mobile phone market, but the company is always present and has plenty of other consumer electronics to show off. We’ve heard some murmurs of new TVs coming. And we don’t doubt it; that’s one of the company’s strongest departments. Of course, there should be plenty of other appliances, entertainment, and general electronics at LG’s booth. We’ve heard nothing concrete just yet, though. AsusRobert Triggs / Android Authority Asus is known for highlighting its gaming devices during CES shows, and next year likely won’t be the exception. Expect a plethora of gaming laptops, tablets, monitors, peripherals, and other components. Additionally, we’ll probably see some (but not as many) non-gaming computing products. AMDKris Carlon / Android Authority AMD might be bringing out the big guns at CES 2023. While not confirmed yet, we’re expected to see the new Ryzen 7000X3D chips in early 2023, and AMD has already announced there will be a CES keynote. It would be a missed opportunity if AMD doesn’t at least mention some details about its next silicon. NvidiaWe’re not expecting much out of Nvidia at CES 2023, at least in terms of mobile devices and services. We know the new RTX 4060 GPU might be coming during the Las Vegas tech show. Of course, we’ll update you as more details emerge. What else to look out for?
