Dell laptop stuck on Dell logo
lalajee asked Feb 12, '21 | FionaYan-MSFT answered Feb 15, '21 Laptop getting stuck on dell logo after the Feature UpdateWhen we upgraded the machine from 1809 to 1909 it upgrading the machine but on the last reboot machine get stuck on dell logo and it doesn't do anything until you force reboot few times. Machin only getting stuck on dell logo if the machine is on VPN if the machine is the local network it works fine Once login to machine you can see that machine was upgraded successfully. FionaYan-MSFT answered Feb 15, '21 @lalajee Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum. 1.Since we go to the full OS, for trouble shooting this issue, did we check the WindowsUpdate.log and event viewer on our client side to see if there is any error in these logs? 2.Based on my understanding, VPN requires the connection to the internal environment. With the VPN environment, we need to add the IP range of the VPN clients as a boundary to Configuration Manager may like the image below: For more details, please refer to this helpful blog.
