Are the order banks open for the 2023 Ford Bronco?

Are the order banks open for the 2023 Ford Bronco?

As we approach the end of summer, Ford continues to open order banks for some of their most desirable models. In July, Ford started taking orders for the new 2023 F-150 and 2023 Transit van, which are still currently open. Now, as of today, August 3, Ford has opened order banks for the 2023 Bronco Sport, Edge, Explorer, and Ranger.

What is a Ford “Order Bank”?

Ford rolled out their “order bank” process to ensure customers can get their dream vehicle as quickly as possible, based on the exact model, trim, color, features, and packages desired. When a car has an order bank currently closed, Ford is no longer taking orders for the specific vehicle. However, if an order bank is open like the new 2023 Bronco Sport, Edge, Explorer, F-150, Transit, and Ranger, Bill Brown Ford can take your customer order and submit it to Ford.

The 2023 Ranger is anticipated to be one of Ford’s most capable trucks. To improve performance, towing, payload capacity, and off-road capability, Ford has added a new 3.0L V8 turbodiesel engine as an option. The truck also features a redesigned frame, increasing cargo and storage space. Now, the wheelbase is 50 mm longer, and the track is 50 mm wider. The Ford Bronco Sport debuted in 2021- this compact SUV had only minor updates in its second model year. Ford has yet to announce any updates indicating new changes to the 2023 model. With no new updates, the 2023 Bronco Sport will boost the same standard 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that produces 181 hp and 190 pound-feet of torque. An optional 245-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine is available for drivers looking for extra off-road capabilities. Each Bronco Sport trim comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The 2023 Ford Edge

The 2023 Ford Edge will be similar to the 2022 model, featuring a standard 12-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Google Assistant, Wi-Fi connectivity, and four USB outlets. Inside, the Edge will offer navigation, wireless charging pads, and a 12-speakers sound system. All-wheel drive is standard for the Edge. Under the hood, Ford’s upcoming Edge SUV will come standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 250 horsepower. In addition, it is expected that the 2023 Ford Edge ST trim will have a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine producing 335 horsepower. Overall, the 2023 model year is a carryover from the previous year.

The 2023 Ford Explorer

The Ford Explorer is one of the most popular midsize 3-row SUVs, thanks to its wide range of engine choices and versatility, with room for up to seven passengers. Since the Ford Explorer had major redesign elements in 2020, it is unlikely that the 2023 model year will have too many differences other than technology and safety upgrades. The Explorer will continue to offer a standard turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine producing 300 hp, a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 offering 400 hp, and the hybrid 3.3-liter V6 engine producing 318 hp.

Is Bronco ordering closed?

Due to the high demand, we are not allowing new retail orders for Bronco vehicles, so we can prioritize existing order holders. This is a temporary pause. We will continue to monitor the status of the order bank and provide an update in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Did Ford stop taking orders on Broncos?

To prioritize getting Broncos to existing order holders, Ford will stop accepting new retail orders for the 2022 Bronco on March 7. If you want to get a 2022 Bronco, you'll want to hurry to convert your reservation into an official order. We're not surprised to see Ford close the order books for the 2022 Bronco.

How many pre orders does the Bronco have?

To date, Ford has received more than 125,000 orders for the Bronco, which debuted as a 2021 model, with 190,000 people having put down $100 refundable deposits. The reservation system will be back in October.
