“The American School is a student-centered, college-preparatory institution that fosters globally—responsible citizens and leaders by offering a rigorous, international education which promotes core values in a safe, innovative and collaborative environment.” Amschool.org | | +504 2276-8400 Will the grade boundaries be lower in 2023 IB?The IB also intends that in 2023 the distribution of grades awarded for our qualifications to return close to those of May 2019. However, it is still possible that the disruption to learning may impact student performance in 2023 examinations to some extent.
What percentage of IB students get a 45?Achieving a perfect score in IB is hard but not impossible! Less than 1% of IB candidates achieve an IB 45 world-wide.
Is IB harder than as levels? The IB is considerably harder than A-levels. In the IB, students must study six subjects plus extras whereas with A-levels students study three subjects. Will there be IB exams in 2022?Yes! While lots of schools accepted non-exam route IB diplomas during 2020, 2021, and 2022, many schools have now returned to only awarding college credit based on the IB Higher Level exam results for 2022-2023.
