Hello! I understand that similar questions have been asked before and that many users have experienced this problem. I believe I have tried all possible solutions but none have worked. When I play my music and then press my power button to turn the screen off and lock my phone, my music will stop playing after 20 seconds or so. I have tried everything from enabling background data usage to reinstalling the app. Is there any other fix or do I have to have my screen on at all times while music is playing? I own a Blackview BV5500. I understand that these aren't common handsets so could the issue fall down to the fact I have this device? Many thanks in advance! James.

Hi there@James Goldston
Thanks for reaching out to us. If you tried the troubleshooting you mentioned above, chances are that this is due to something on the device itself. During the troubleshooting you tried, have you managed to restart the device? What version of our app do you have?

Hi! Yes, I've tried with battery, uninstalling the app, wipping out cache. But nothing has worked.

Maybe too late now considering the age of the thread.
I had something similar a few years ago on Spotify, it had something to do with power save mode.
Somewhere buried deep inside android was the ability to disable power saving for certain apps.
Im going back a few years, so whether or not this feature is still valid I couldnt say, but disabling power save on the app permissions cured the fault.
