I haven’t gotten vanguard yet and I’m just wondering if everyone prefers the zombies on that one over the Cold War zombies?

level 1

Its decent. But preferred over Cold War? Haha. No.

Just about everyone here will tell you it's horrible. I say just try it for yourself.

level 1

The game itself even aside from zombies is completely terrible. The zombies is an absolute disaster. Some people will say "try it and form your own opinions". But don't let Activision Rob you of 60 quid just to realise its a heaping piece of shit. They do not deserve the satisfaction.

level 2

Terrible? I've played worse cods. Ghosts, infinite, advanced, bo4.

level 1

BOCW was my first zombies game, it's amazing. Got Vanguard, it was a huge disappointment. My opinion, Vanguard Zombies is a complete waste of time and resources, both for those who made it and play it.

level 1

It’s not that bad, but it’s also not great. It is decently fun if you’re in the mood for it and you’ll probably like the core gameplay if you liked Cold War, but it’s severely lacking content, is clearly rushed and unfinished, and is just one objective based mode. I would not recommend picking it up for zombies.

level 1

Not sure if it’s been patched but if you played the demo offline you could play zombies. Wasn’t even worth it being free lol

level 1

Don't even think about getting vanguard for zombies I found it to be just awful and extremely boring. I would rather treyarch carry on working on zombies for bo4 or cold war than waste any more of their time on this pile of shite known as vanguard zombies. Watch the act man video for vanguard zombies and you will see why it is an absolute stinking pile of pus.

level 1

Luckily I’ve never played it, the reason for that is that I heard there aren’t any classic round based maps and at this point I don’t see the worth in picking up the game.

Still play Cold War and BO3 regularly.

level 1

Honestly? If you're buying a game just for a new zombies, you'd get more bang for your buck by buying Black Ops on the Nintendo DS; that's how little Vanguard has to offer.

If you're just looking for a new and different Zombies experience, why don't you try Infinite Warfare Zombies, or WWII Zombies? They're both pretty great!

level 2

Infinite warfare zombies is amazing ❤️

level 1

Been playing it this week. It’s awesome

level 1

It can be enjoyable, but saying it’s better than Cold War or any other zombies for that matter is laughable

level 1

It’s up to you what you wanna do. I personally wouldn’t recommend it

level 1

No offence to the other people commenting on here, but it is really bad compared to Cold War. There is little to no replay-ability unless you are trying to grind out the challenges for calling cards. If you are gonna buy Vanguard, don’t do it for the zombies. Edit: if you’ve played the maps through once or twice and gotten to a decent round then you’ve done it all.

level 1

No. I’d you want a different zombies game, bo3, bocw, or ww2 are your best bet.

level 1

VGZ=unplayable due to laggy ded servers, so...

level 2

Yeah i think its only the multiplayer on the trial at the noment?

level 2

Not even. They removed so much and there aren’t even any round based maps. And that’s just scratching the surface on the amount of issues that game has

level 2

What does Vanguard have that they copy and pasted from Cold War? Genuinely interested.

I, as did basically everyone, disliked Vanguard zombies on launch, uninstalled it and didn’t touch it again until today. And my god, it’s fallen into place beautifully.

Let me preface this by saying I loved Cold War zombies, and I loved it because it constantly felt like I was working to make myself more powerful. However, it was quite easy to feel unkillable in Cold War; not in Vanguard.

Vanguard has taken the expanded arsenal ideology of cold war and balanced it really well. Removing weapon rarity but keeping triple pack means that you’re willing to invest in whatever gun you want, and not be put off by its low rarity. But you have to choose if you want to invest in upgrading your gun and miss out on upgrading your perks, meaning keeping your starting weapon isn’t as viable as hitting the box, which also gives you higher packs at later rounds.

If vanguard had launched with all of this I would’ve kept playing, and if treyarch’s next game had this sort of customisation and arsenal it would be brilliant.

I believe in coming on reddit and writing about how I like things, as well as how I dislike them. I hope treyarch sees this and knows that their recent endeavour is appreciated by some.

I’d love to hear everyone else’s opinions.

Is cod vanguard Zombies any good?

Vanguard possesses no Easter egg storylines, no wonder weapons, and a limited, uninspiring suite of perks. There's an efficient undead-killing infrastructure here, but everything else in Zombies is weirdly spare. One of the best things about roguelikes is their ability to surprise you after multiple runs.

Does Cod Vanguard have Zombies Reddit?

Is there an end to Zombies in Vanguard?

Call Of Duty: Vanguard Zombies Will Conclude In Season 5 With The Archon Map. Treyarch announced The Archon as the final Zombies map for Vanguard.

What's the point of Vanguard Zombies?

The Vanguard Zombies Transmit objective is essentially an escort mission, wherein you must stick close to an Aether Orb (floating zombie head) to get it to advance to the finish. You have to be within a few meters of the head for it to move, so make sure you stick close.
