This version of GTA 5 includes both the full single player game and GTA Online, so the $9.99 price tag is actually a great deal.

If you are wondering how GTA Online will work with PS5 on its own, it will be free. This is if you didn’t want to purchase the full single player experience again. You can download GTA Online separately for absolutely no cost whatsoever for the first three months. If you decide that you want GTA Online after the first three months of the sale, it will run you about $19.99. If this are something that you are interested in playing on the PlayStation 5, I advise to get them within the first three months of their release so that you can save quite a bit of money.

How much is GTA 5 on the Xbox Series X

Xbox Series X users do not have it nearly as nice as PlayStation users do. Instead of the 75% discount PlayStation users are going to see during their first three months, Xbox Series X users are only going to see a 50% discount through the first three months. That means you can buy GTA 5 on the Xbox Series X for $19.99 through June 15. This $19.99 version includes both the full single player experience along with GTA Online.

However, if you aren’t looking to play through the single player campaign again, you can purchase GTA 5 online separately from the main game. Unlike how it is with PlayStation 5, GTA Online is not free on the Xbox Series X. GTA Online will cost $9.99 for the first three months of release on the Xbox Series X. There will be no free versions of GTA 5 on the Xbox Series X at all, but I guess having it discounted for three months isn’t that bad either. After the three months are up, GTA Online will go back to its $19.99 regular pricing once again.

Whichever version you end up going with, both will be discounted in some sort of way for three months. Don’t hesitate on purchasing these options within the three-month period otherwise you are going to have to pay full price for these games once again.
